TRI Cap has joined with MD Peter Murphy and 20 existing employees to invest £350K in the Hawick based engineering firm Turnbull & Scott (Engineers) Ltd. Turnbull & Scott (Engineers) Ltd has been an established manufacturer of heat exchangers since 1933. Today the company produces heat exchangers and specialist heating solutions for both industrial and commercial applications.

TRI Cap commits a further tranche of investment in Turnbull & Scott to support the company's expansion. TRI Cap members were part of a £400,000 deal which enables the company to acquire two new businesses, extending manufacturing operations at the Hawick factory while both securing the jobs of the existing workforce and creating a number of additional positions.
October 2008
Turnbull & Scott has announced the appointment of a sales executive. The company is investing heavily in the commercial heating division where it sees great opportunities for deploying both existing and future products.
